Previous I had a 7.3L Powerstroke, but it wasn't 4x4, and if I looked at it wrong I would get it stuck. I suppose if I had bought 4x4 7.3L years ago, I'd still have the truck. And after a bit, can you report your mpg, is it about 10-12? I seem to remember v12 mpg was about it on the V10.

Enjoy your new truck!!
I had a 99 F350 4x4 PSD, excellent motor. I even had a 05 V10 but after that I dropped down to the F150's.
Late Spring I upgraded to a slightly larger Toyhauler RV Trailer and my 14 F150 5.0L/3.55 axles seemed a bit down on towing power, more so towing through high mountain passes, not wanting a V6 ecoboost I ordered this 16 F350 with 4.30 gears.
Power is there, this 6.2L does put out the power when you put your foot into it and it feels way better power wise than the 6.2L F250 I test drove with the Stock 3.73 gears.
MPG is not a worry for me as this is not my everyday vehicle but so far I am impressed with the mpg/power that this motor is producing with only 500 miles on the odo.
Highway driving empty @ a avg of 70mph I'm getting 14.8mpg/in town right at 12. No cruise control is being used yet as I don't want steady rpm's. Highway mph speeds are anywhere from 60 to 80.

I like the Ride more than the F150 because of the feel of the Super Duty if that makes any sense, the F350 does feel different, you can feel the heavier frame under you, the tall feeling of the SD is a nice too and the ride really isn't rough but just not as smooth as a F150.

In the 3rd week of September I am returning to the same Campsite with this F350 and my same toyhauler that the F150 towed last trip. It will be interesting to see the results with my F350 6.2L/4.30 gears does compared to my then F150.
I'll be sure to report back.

This 6.2L is designed to stay in the higher rpm's for it to stay it its powerband.
