Looking good... You planning any headlight upgrades? Maybe projector conversions with HID, or one of the turn-key custom lights available?

Not feeling the recon tails on that color.

BUT I am absolutely in love with the surround being PTMed. Why is that not standard for the lariat? It is on my KR, but the Lariat needs the love too. Way too much chrome out front on these Super duties.

Looking forward to seeing more. After I purchase a Titan 50 gallon fuel tank I'm thinking a nice set of retros are next in line for my girl.

The highlighted Letter Decals are available on ebay but be sure to get for both the frontgrill and the tailgate as the letters are a different size. You have a choice for the color of the Letters, they go on easy as long as you follow the wet install.
These are not Recon LED Tailights but Spyder LED's and after looking at all of the choices I preferred the ones I decided on, I am trying to cut down a bit on too much red and too much chrome.
The Front Chrome Grill was just too loud for my liking, after getting a new unpainted grill surround, having it color-matched at the Ford Dealer Body shop and they installed it, it came to $320. I knew one of the SD's came with the painted Surround, didn't realize it was the KR Model, should be a option on all of the Models.
Still needing a bit more in miles before I can tow, now at 700, I went on a drive in the near by Mountains today.

Still not sure about the Headlights, they are not cheap and if I do a change with them I have to be sure I do it right.
Presently I am looking at the Anzo Brand with LED Bulbs and going through the Ford Dealer isn't all that more in overall cost, so far.
Here too I am trying to stay with a more Smoke color on the headlights, don't want any more chrome on the front end.
The Rear LED 3rd brake light I received didn't work (wouldn't plug in correctly) so I still need to find one that plugs in correctly.

I did write recon didn't I...I totally ment spyder haha, I must be losing it.

Really tempted to highlight my super duty letters now. I'll have to see if they have an adobe color option. My girlfriend will not thankyou for the extra expense haha.

The more I look at the tails the more I like them. I tend to not like led tails period, mainly because I like the big amount of red in the rear of the truck. I can see how the different contrasts and having too much red can be an issue on a red truck.

So hard to find that perfect balance of colors and chrome on a vehicle. I really think ford missed the mark by not having the PTM surround an option on at least the lariat. It changes the look so much.

I need to change out the FORD emblems both front and rear, don't care for the blue background, at least with those I can get overlays.
The LED Tail lights are super bright RED when the turn-signal or brakes or regular lights are on. They were a plug~n~play install and came with the turn signal relay built in to prevent Hyper-Flash.
My 4x4 decals are adobe and you can't even see them against the Ruby Red Paint, I guess they are adobe because of the interior adobe but maybe by adding a silver shaded outline on the 4x4 adobe decal would look better, that I can do with edcals.com I can design them on edcals, change colors/shades/outlines and so forth before ordering.

On the letter colors, any color should be available, just ask the seller for the Color you need.

I did find a set of the Anzo Headlights on sell for $508 but I will hold off for awhile, even wait till the xmass sales, no hurry in the headlight upgrade. Would rather turn my focus into upgrading the Stereo unit to one of the nicer gps/nav units and retain the swc/blue tooth/snyc.

Changed out the too dim 194 LED amber Bulbs in my Smoked Roof Lights to some Brighter LED (Amber) LED Bulbs, way better and these look to be what I was looking for.

Ended up returning the 3rd brake LED light as it caused a Hum for 2 minutes after the Truck was turned off/key out of the ign.
I'll look for a different brand, maybe anzo will work correctly.
