Im with triton, if we wanted to be like every other car forum...I would buy a car...If we wanted to be like every other truck forum, i would buy a dodge, but I bought a ford, so i like to think we better than every other forum on the web. So we shouldnt be like them

Keep it stricty F100, F150, F250, F350, F450, F550...I think there is a 650 too isnt there? F1__ all the way baby!

the reasoning for choosing not to add a small sub section is a bit shallow. I sold a phone to WXMPRO last year....and had no problems. I do believe Triton posted a want ad for an ATT cell phone...talk about a flip flop. I have one, but ill just sell it to someone else.

It seems like we want to protect each other from ourselves. I have seen sales ads for stuff and the sellers never get back to anyone, dont provide good pics, or even decent descriptions...Quite frankly, i just dont get the close minded mentality.

As far as I know or can tell, this isnt a profit oriented forum or even a business forum for that matter. Its a forum for guys/gals to get help with their Ford Trucks.

If they wanted to expand to selling cell phones or other parts/services...then that would be a management decision...But as far as I can tell, its a not for profit forum there for there really isnt a management. Management would be the administrators...Are they getting paid? if so...Where can I sign up? And Ill work to get you that misc selling section

that would make sense except that it doesnt. Its alright to sell someone a pair of taillights for $300 that you tinted yourself and are making a 200% profit on, but but selling another item in which you would be making minimal profit on or are even selling lower that market value to a fellow member of the community is not acceptable.

being unable to discern the difference between selling an item a fellow member is interested in or needs and selling for outright profit is actually quite sad.

Well For 1 The Post I Made For Parts Was For A F-150 Not No Friggin Rice Burner. I Dont See Where It Should Matter If I Have 10 Post Or 1,000,000 Posts Its Straight Up B.S. I Thought I Found A F150 Forum That Was Better Than The Others But I Guess I Was Wrong This Forum Is The Same As All The Others "crappy". WTF??? That makes no sense. You seem lost so I'll help you out. We're talking about selling ONLY F150 parts so who cares about profit?? As long as it's an F150 part or accessorie than it's ok to sell it.

I wouldn't buy it from you because I'm sure you would rig it to where it won't work after I bought it from you because you seem like a shady person.

Actually I did buy a phone from him that he advertised in the for sale section last year. Had no problems with the phone until the wife dropped it into a bucket of water.

It's just unfortunate that if you open the for sale section up and make it a free for all it would give the appearance of ebay or craigslist. There is only one way to enforce a standard and that is across the board. Once you allow something non F-150 on the board for sale then that becomes the new standard. Us mods just have to do a better job at catching those items and removing them. Crystal seems to be picking up my slack though.
