Might have the truck down a few months for repairs so I was thinking of having a spare vehicle on hand since my wife travels alot. I've had my share of muscle cars (chevelle and Mustang) and while they're a blast, I'm thinking about something more understated. I hated guys yelling at me at stop lights (I had a guy ask to "race for pinks" one time). So I was thinking of something more low key, but fun to open up on country roads. I'm looking at below $10k. Here's a few thoughts:
Lincoln Mark VIII...souped up 4.6l and cushy ride
BMW 540i Wagon (V8)...I've always wanted a wagon and bmw has a timeless style
2003-2005 Infiniti M45 (v8):
Anyway, these are just some muscular, under the radar cars that I could think of in the sub 10k market. Obviously the BMW is going to be expensive with parts, but there's a few Japanese sedans that are nice. And it doesn't have to be v8 either...plenty of healthy 6 cylinder cars out there too. What do ya'll think?
