That is a Royal Plecostomus, scientific name is Panaque nigrolineatus. It is a herbivorous freshwater armored catfish native to Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela where it occurs in the Orinoco and Amazon basins. Some of the fish come directly from the native habitat but for the most part are bread in captivity.
He was a very shy fish and that pic was taken a few days before before passing away. I am getting another one as well as a Gold Nugget Plecostomus.
