Default SYNC How do I play music?

I know this is probably a no-brainer. I'm usually able to figure these things out, but the manual doesn't seem to be very helpful.

I paired my iphone5 to the truck via Bluetooth. So now, I want to play some music. I went on my phone and clicked on the song I want to play. But nothing happens. How do I get music to play via Bluetooth?

Thank you.

you have to select BT in the Sync audio menu (where you select AM / FM, CD, Sirius, AV, etc).

BT can be finicky in these trucks, mine works whenever it feels like it

Ok. Is it easier to just plug the phone into the USB port? I don't mind to do that. (saves battery anyways)

in theory, yes. In reality, USB doesnt always work either! (with an iPhone 4 anyway). Sometimes i have to unplug / plug it back in a couple times, before it works. Or BT starts the music alright, but only on the phone, not through the truck's speakers better to laugh about it...

Open your iTunes music app, then hit the speak button on your steering wheel, when she asks say "Bluetooth audio". Then say "play".
