Haha! Comquest, you're starting all of these interesting threads!

Me:

* I'm 32
* I've worked in the auto body trade for 17 years, full time painter for 14 years. Started sweeping floors/emptying trash in a private shop at 15.

* Went to Wyotech in Laramie WY in 1999/2000 (it was a weird time then, if you remember what was going on in the news then) Graduated with an Associates degree of occupational studies in collision/refinishing/trim + upholstery.

* I've been married for 8 years
* just had a son, he's 9 months old now

*Recently moved from Mass to Wisconsin

* music of choice: metal, metal, and more metal. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy other stuff too.

* Played bass in a (various) metal band (s) for 12 years. I have many videos of us on YouTube. Did vocals in a death metal band for 2 years. And yes...i can still do it. Because of that i do a mean cookie monster impression that my kid loves!

* Really into archery. Compound and recurve.

* Huge comic book nerd. I personally own 9-10k comic books. And still buy and read them to this day.

Hunttman01 How ya doing? Why do you feel old at 18? That's awesome on your schooling too. Have you killed/caught anything with your bow?

mbullock Ha ha...Yeah. Thanks. You have a lot of auto body/repair experience. What's the job market like for that kind of work?
I got stuck in WY one year for 2 days due to bad weather and the roads being shut down. Refresh my memory, what was going on around 1999/2000? I know I was driving big rigs back then.

Congratulations on your son. Hope your move from MA to WI is a good one. I like all kinds of music too. What's the link so I can check you out on YouTube? It is so cool, that you collect Comic books. Hmm...Gave me a thought, start a what do you like to collect thread? Ha ha ha

Name's Tyler
Live in Arkansas
I go to ASU Searcy, currently In the autobody course, going to round off my associates with welding and fab.
Big into bow hunting as well as dove and duck hunting(not a part of the duck dynasty craze)
I pretty much like anything to do with building, wiring, or refurbishing things, be it a truck, or piece of furniture. I'm right in the middle of redoing a night stand for my apartment, it was a girly blue, but I liked the style and it was cheap, so here's how she sat before varnish. Haven't finished that yet, but I should have it done next week.

Job market at this time of year for auto body is slow. Once the weather hits, things take off.

Back in 99-00 in Laramie WY was when Matthew Sheppard was killed, i signed all the papers to go out there 2 days before it happened. Then the 9 months i was out there, was the trial of his killers. It was a weird time. Odd to be so close to something so huge.

Here's one of my bands, chaos before creation. There's some swears at the beginning of this, so make sure volume is low at first, haha. This was at Showcase Live in the shadow of Gillette stadium (where the patriots play)

The band after that, forgotten after February. Cover of Dio/killswitch engage's Holy Diver.
