Hey my name is Jared. 25 years old. Born and raised in a very small town in Nevada. My dad managed a Wildlife Management Area called Key Pittman, so needless to say I am a huge outdoorsman. Favorite thing to do is duck hunting. The season opens this Saturday so I am thoroughly stoked. I am currently in Elko NV working as an Environmental Engineer for a gold mine. Been here for a year. We are an open pit Run-of-Mine heap leach operation. I know how to operate a lot of different equipment from my days working for my dad in High School. I love to fish and just boat. fly fishing is a joy that only a few understand these days. I enjoy working on my trucks (77 F-100 and 05 F150). I have a lovely wife that is with me through thick and thin. I am a LDS convert and love they joy it brings me. I raced motorcycles in high school and still love to ride. cant wait to get a bike again. I raced desert which gave me usually 40 miles to release any pent up anger haha. I am a happy-go-lucky guy that has very few bad days.

I'm Zack. I'm 29 and live near Columbus, OH. I went to Ohio State for Computer Science but I'm currently a web designer. I like so many different things that I will never have one career. I enjoy helping others. I rock climb and snowboard. I would love to live out west (pacific northwest). I don't like wearing shoes and I prefer to be outdoors.

JaredTanner Thanks for sharing. I been to Elko NV a long time ago when I use to drive big rigs. Yeah you sound like a true outdoors man. That is good that your wife stick with you thick and thin. 40 miles to release anger?...LOL Yeah that is good. I would love to run them 40 miles in the desert in a Raptor.
Also what is a LDS convert?

frmt Near Columbus? Where? I'm born and raised in Columbus. I went to OSU also, but did not graduate from there. Seems like half of my family work up at OSU. As you can see, I picked the color of my truck for my Buckeye love...ha ha.
I have a CS degree. I started out EE but that higher level physics and Calculus kicked my tail, so I changed to CS.
Thanks for sharing.

I live in Newark just east of Columbus. A friend graduated from OSU with an EE degree. That is definitely tough stuff!

Ya man 40 miles on a dirt bike is a trip. nothing like it. A raptor wouldn't fit down the little washes I used to race down haha. it was just wide enough for my shoulders at times. Its a church, LDS stands for Latter Day Saint, mainly known as mormons.

JaredTanner When you say convert, what did you do? Did you change religion/faiths, or what? How do you like it?

Ya I was baptized by my grandpa when I was really young into a christian faith. when I was in high school I found the LDS religion which is also a christian faith. I took the missionary discussions and was baptized. I love it. I was married in the temple to my wife and wouldn't have it any other way . I am currently a member of the young men's presidency in which I teach 13-14 year olds every Sunday and also help out with the boy scouts.
