I have played the drums my entire life, as my old dad was a professional, and I used to play in the live music bar scene for years. The highlight of my music career was playing Talladega Speedway a few times for the spring and fall races.

We lived in the deep south for almost 10 years, in the low country of SC and in Birmingham Al.

We became active in Greyhound racing and adoption while living in the south, and currently have three retired racing hounds. We currently work with a local group to promote and facilitate greyhound adoptions across western Canada.

I'm on my third marriage, because I'm easy going and not difficult to live with at all. I have two daughters from my second marriage, aged 21 and 18. They are very pretty and worry me to death.

I listen to every genre of music, but I find that I've been listening to country more as I get older.

I'm a champion drinker of alcohol, and have an almost super human tolerance. On a good day with the right company, I can consume a couple of 24 cases of beer. I call it my gift from God. I like to have a few Vodka and clams before I start drinking.

I was around at the dawn of the computer age, and became fascinated with technology. I'm a bit of a gadget geek, and waste a lot of money on electronics.
@Jjayf Wow that's surely a career change. I went from Long Distance truck driving to Network Analyst. Electrical Engineering courses kicked my tail (the higher level calculus and physics) so I changed my major to Computer Science. I love it.
Playing at Talledega had to be so cool. I have been living in the Lowcountry (Charleston Area) since Jan 2000. My husband is from Beaufort, SC.
And I love technology too. Can't spend too much money on goodies because of furlough days and 2 kids in daycare. Got to be on a budget for now...ha ha ha

My name is Kevin, I'm 19 years old soon to be 20 in October. I am a Ford guy by choice and Canadian by the grace of god. I work at a Professional Truck Accessories shop as the 'everything' guy. I am going to the states to learn Spray In Box Lining in these next coming weeks. I've been a Mechanic at Ford and a Bodyman. I live in a 'city'/town of 80,000 people now (it's getting over populated sadly).

I spend my days going to work Tuesday to Saturday, I love my job and the people there. 8:30-5pm. Then I get to meet my lovely woman after work to spend my evenings until the next day. I spend my days off working on my truck always finding ways to improve it.

When we were in SC we lived in Beaufort on Lady's Island for a while, then Walterboro and finally Hampton. SC was our favorite, and had the company not closed, we would likely still be living there. Great people and great times.

@KevFord1993 Being that you work in a professional truck accessories shop, is your truck all mod and decked out? Do you have a lot of goodies added? I would end up spending most of my paycheck in the place... Ha ha ha. That's good that you love your job and enjoy what you do cause so many people hate their jobs.

@Jjayf Yeah we lived in Dale, SC, Lady's Island, and Charleston area (Ladson, Goose Creek then Summerville). SC is nice. We just wanted a change of pace. New faces, new places and new stuff to do. In Atlanta area there is Aleah's something going on. How did you make it all the way to Canada? How long have you been there? I can't do the cold, snow and ice anymore. Ha ha ha.

@dzlbudman that's good you love your job. A few people on here said they love their job. I visited a John Deere museum up near Rock Island, IL a while ago. It was nice. John Deere everything. Where from the east coast are you from? MAC trucks are nice. I drove one for a day a Long time ago. We drove KW and Frieghtliners. Bummer about your relationship not working and yeah this forum is cool. Lots of good looking eye candy trucks on here. :-)

Born and raised in northern Canada. Snow and cold is what we do.. Lol. I was in the south for work. We moved from SC to Bama after the company I was at went under. When the economy turned bad, we headed home and I took up mining. A 45 year old desk jockey going underground is a pretty big stretch..

Ha ha yeah no doubt. What's it like? Is it as scary as some I'd those mines you see in TV where toxic gases build up and all that stuff? I don't know if I could do it. :-)
