Default Searches in Watertown.

I watched some vids of home searches in watertown and wonder how wrong that was. Call me crazy but the Waffen SS could not have done any better. I know they were looking for a bad guy but come on. They treated some of those people ruff when they didnt see any cameras. Just more reason for me to hate THE MAN.

Congrats, it's not often that Godwin's law is fulfilled by the first post in a thread.

That having been said, the Waffen SS would have been far less efficient doing searches than the various agencies conducting the searches in Bahstin, mainly because it wasn't their job. The SS was combat line units, not a police force. The group you're thinking of is the Sturmableitung, or the SA, who were Herr Schickelgruber's internal police. Would that we could have a one time reappearance of the People's court, but that, as well as the SA and SS is where it belongs, in the dustbin of history.

Sorry, tho not its regular job the Waffen SS was taxed to go house by house in the Warswa Ghetto to flush out all the jews they could find on On Monday, April 19, 1943, the Jewish feast of Passover. Not my point. It just seems to me that when we get scared we give up more and more rights. Rights that people I give all my respect to that went to war and died for these rights. I myself prefer not to give anymore.

The Warsaw ghetto was a combat op, not a cordon and search by a police force.

Exactly what rights were given up in Bahstin?

I'm going to guess that this is what the OP is referring to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nrkcUV_7Qk

Reminds me of back in high school, my good friends and i went out to play some pool. They went out to their car to smoke errr....something...the pool hall owner called the cops on them. The cops came and did basically what happened in this video. They even ripped the door panels off, glove box was torn out, and seats ripped out, to look for drugs. They just had a dime on them, that was it. Treated like they were trafficking coke. And there was no terrorism involved.

While most people wouldn't have a problem with the searches there's no way they were legal. If the police see a suspect go into a building they don't need a warrant to go after him. If they didn't see where he went they can't just yank you out of your house like that. I wonder what they would have done if they kicked in someone's door and they were sitting on the couch in their own house with a gun to defend themselves with.
