I did mine about 6 months after I bought it and it was a nice lil sweat session lol

My ranger didn't take any time. Longest was cleaning the chrome and then the aftermarket rims took forever. Of I did my truck with no interruptions I think I could do it in 6 hrs not including detailing inside or cleaning windows but I just bought some fw1 stuff and that made the outside of the windows look amazing and it didn't even put fingerprints after I rubbed my hand all over the glass after I did one

It was a PITA to get the new strut in. Had to use a crowbar to wedge it in there. Just a lot of work! Tried to get the first tie rod end out and ended up slipping and hammered on the threads, muffed them up. Had to chase the threads.

I wouldn't pay a shop that much money to do that kind of work. First side took an hour and a half, second side took 20 minutes once we established a proper plan.

Went for a drive. Ride quality is absolutely amazing.

There is no way that you'll feel a difference THAT significant swapping shocks out of a brand new truck lol. I can almost guarantee you're seeing a placebo effect.
