The truck i had at the time was going to take 1500-2000 dollars to keep it on the road so I took that and put it towards a different truck.

Agreed! I bought mine to live in as well. But houses typically don't lose value like a vehicle

Never seen a stained concrete floor in a house. Usually they do it in commercial buildings such as banquet halls. Looks good.

It does look good in some applications. My dad did a cork floor in the lobby at his office, and poured concrete covered in a semi-gloss coating in the hallways. it looks nice.
