Wes would probably know, he was horny for them for a bit last year haha. But yes, they are recaps, supposedly durable but I wouldn't put them on my DD. On a toy, that's a different story.

Ill ask Wes. And I've not heard of any problems with recapps I mean tons of big rigs I've worked on have recapped tires. And they put tons of miles on them.

Most of the blowouts on trucks are recaps.
