Tires in Canada are expensive period. Unless you know someone... My tsr's retail from 350-400$ depending on the shop you go to, and I paid 225$

If I can find a cheap set of fx 18's I'll swap my winter tires over to those.

About the only time they matched the truck, when it was stock haha.
I'm thinking the Toyo on some nice aftermarket wheels for the summer, then run my factory 20's with Michelin's in the winter so I don't get rock chips on the side of the truck. That way, it looks good all year. Last winter I ran some 17" blizzak tires on tiny rims and hated it. So I want to look good all year.

Your truck looks way better without the chrome. You could paint them black with plasti dip

Yeah, that'd probably be pretty good! Always nice to change the look a little bit every now and then as well.

For what plasti dip is worth here, I would actually paint them. But I don't really care for those rims, even once blacked out. Maybe because over half the f150's here have those rims.

Yeah I'm really getting the bug. Time to do it! Too bad I decided to do it at a time when funds are a little tight. 4 months ago I could've done a 6" lift. Now I have to do it in increments. 2" level block to start, then tires, then wheels, then shocks.

Yeah, I know how that goes... It's taken me a year to get my truck from stock to where it sits, but how was I supposed I know when I started the mods, I'd be into them for 14G so far..

I put 15k into my old car. Never again lol. So much wasted money. This time around I'm just doing small mods. Wheels being the most expensive

Right now I don't really have anything else to spend my money on other than my truck. No girlfriend, no rent for awhile, so why not? Don't think I'm going to put $14k in, but a few grand maybe.

I never mod vehicles. I find what I want and call it good. Not against modifications, but I think they take away from time I could be spending driving it.
