I work for the world's leading safety provider and am contracted to this O&G company. Their graphic is a green 'H'. Their HQ is in TX. As is the US HQ for my company.

The S92. My first, and only so far (till Monday anyway) helicopter ride was in one of those. The main door flapping about was a bit unsettling the first few minutes, but when no one else seemed concerned, I figured it was normal.

So do you work offshore as well? I just wish the seats in those things would recline a little bit. On my flight out this hitch we hit some bad rain and turbulence...water was coming all into the cabin and turbulence in a helicopter is way different than trying to ride it out in a plane...lol

I work primarily on land, with occasional trips offshore. Last year I think I spent a total of 5 weeks over 2 different trips, and this year I've only been out for 2 days so far. This next trip Monday will be 2-4 weeks depending in weather and a few other factors.

I've heard turbulence in a helicopter will put your nuts in your throat.

Reminds me of the habitat for humanity house we worked on last year... the old guys had little to no carpentry experience. Basically had to undo their work and redo it
