Slow day, so I tore apart a generator I need to rebuild. Needs a head cause the valve guides are wore out and it has no compression.

Sanded about 180 board feet of 7/8 ash for cabinet facing. We sand one side with 80 grit. Then rip them to 2 1/8 on the table saw, then pane them on both sides to 2" for facing. The facings are cut according to specs, then holes are drilled with the aid of the kreg jig, they are glued and screwed, then nailed onto the cabinet body. Any unsightly nail holes are puttied, then the face is sanded with 180 grit paper, then finished with 320 grit, ready for stain!!! An all hand process here at the shop.

Our rear shop door has buckled so many times its falling off the track and the gearbox grenaded itself.
