It happened it slow motion "oooooooo shiiiiiiit" then it made contact and guess what? Not even a scratch or a chip.

They are pricey but we make sure to buy them in bulk whenever they are on sale. We have used them in 4 houses so far.

Do you have a Lowes Commercial Business Credit card? If not, it's worth looking into. 5% off doesn't sound like much but it adds up.
This was the first time we had to replace flooring and the rules we're 5 for a dollar. I needed something quick but it will cost me more time when I go to replace them. As for a Lowes card, I use my military ID for 10% off.

Pulled the carpet and cleaned the cement then peeled and stick away. I have the 18" tiles with grout lines in my basement and they still look good 8 years later. The sticky on the cheap tiles is crap.

Started out looking like a complete pile of you know what.

We gutted it then added two more rooms

And finished it brand new inside and out.
Man, that's quite an improvement.

I charge $450 for 2 bedrooms and $525 for my 3 bedroom. Drive 20 minutes north or south and the rent prices fall $150. College and base town :-P

My current apartment building was built 5 yrs ago. I pay only 950 for 3bd2bth 1300 sqft, single garage, with a large separate laundry. really nicely fitted too. We've got it lucky, anything in Greenville only 30 miles away of the same size/quality is easier $300 more.

Ya that's the trade-off. Cost/time vs end value.....

Second house we did I walked into the bathroom and my foot broke through the floor..... That house took a hell of a lot of work, but we only paid like $12,500 and now it's a great house. I'd live there and I'm spoiled and have really high standards.

Those of you who think our prices are high, well we have never had a problem getting tenants. Anytime someone moves out, there are new people in a few weeks.
