You know it's going to be be heavy but it still shocks you just how heavy that block is. And at the time, that was worth about $1.3M...

I wish I still had the picture, but about 20 years ago my elementary class took a field trip to Fort Knox goldmine. We all got to hold a 22lb bar of gold and have our picture taken. It was worth about $97k at the time.

Snaggletooth Thanks for sharing. Look like a lot need to be done. And how long it took ya to get that truck out the mud? It looks like it was stuck in there pretty good too.

It's nothing glamorous, but it is an industry in which I have developed a skill set. I wish I had actual photos of the workplace, but damaged freight photos aren't that interesting. And all of the other photos of the workplace are from other people's screw ups, so I don't want to incriminate anybody.
cwrose Thanks for sharing. That's awesome. I was a truck driver before changing careers to IT, so I too have seen a lot of damaged freight.

rob28 Thanks for sharing. Wow...that is awesome. Just to think, $1.3M in your hands. I would be sweating...ha ha ha How heavy was it? And ya look great.

That one was afew years ago. Sunk to the frame, took an hour to get the truck out and longer to get the bobcat the truck was pulling on out.
