[QUOTE="ComQuest;3021636"] @flowhandy Thanks for sharing. The pictures are beautiful. Hope that does not sound weird, but the flame against the beautiful sky is awesome. I saw a lot of them down on I-10 when I traveled thru LA and TX.

It's not weird at all, I love the sight as well. I have tons of pics of flares and drilling rigs lit up at night on my phone. I love seeing anything oilfield related.

Not too glorious, but it pays the bills. Working underground gets into your blood, and after doing it for awhile, you won't want to do anything else.

@MixMastaMM Okay. wow. I guess it is kinda funny. Not the Mono part but how you got your nick name and you kept it.

@jferg92 Wow...Thanks for sharing. Looks like you have a plenty to do. I have done network hardware installations before. (thats what that 2nd picture look like). I have ran and pulled my share of cabling, and installed a plenty of IT equipment.

I work in a warehouse where I make sure packages are received, packaged, and delivered in a timely manner to local children so that they may learn and grow.

It's nothing glamorous, but it is an industry in which I have developed a skill set. I wish I had actual photos of the workplace, but damaged freight photos aren't that interesting. And all of the other photos of the workplace are from other people's screw ups, so I don't want to incriminate anybody.

I'm only a contractor underground now and again at various mines but here's a picture similar to the one above.
You know it's going to be be heavy but it still shocks you just how heavy that block is. And at the time, that was worth about $1.3M...
