What did you used to haul? Do you miss it? I've done other jobs but always miss driving big rigs and end up going back to it. Lol

@fooseF150 I hauled all kinds of stuff. I have pulled dry box, refer unit, flatbed, doubles and containers. I drove OTR by myself for 6 years, then 8 years team with my husband. My first driving job was with JB Hunt. I have also drove for US Express, MS Carriers and North American Van Lines. We were owner operators.

Sometimes I miss it, traveling, seeing different places, time spent with my husband (cause we used to ride the roads 30 - 45 days at a time. Then come home for a week. So it seemed we had a week vacation every 30 - 45 days.

But when I got in to it back in 1988 I had no intentions in staying in it that long. I'm in IT now and love it, so I will never go back to trucking. I got little ones now too.

Eh half a day maybe. The driver got stuck or something and did the interlock or whatever you call it when he was spinning tires and screwed the nose cone and differential all up. All the trucks get torn up like that. Almost all our drivers havent even been out of driving school a year. They drive on these torn up oil field dirt roads like its the highway and tear up our trucks.
