Default Possible not Probable new ranger?

These are all older articles from the beginning of the year. Now I will say that I don't really see them bringing the Ranger back to the American market.....which sucks, but it is what it is. This is kind of up there with the Off Road magazine's article with the Bronco in my mind. While it would be cool to bring the Ranger back to the US, I highly doubt they are going to spend the money retooling for another vehicle.

If you look at the brochures for the UK Ranger, they have a tow rating of 7700 lbs. Pretty stout for a little "1/4-ton" truck. I could see how Ford could save some money by using the car Eco powertrains, but again still highly doubtful.

What do you all think about this? Just a pipe dream or do you think that Ford might actually bring back the Ranger in a different version?

EDIT** I did use the search feature and didn't see anything with articles or evidence. If you have a link, please post it. All of the articles I found were using Google.

The squeeky wheel gets the grease, but the screaming wheel gets replaced.
