Lol a 4bt will be heavy enough for it, don't want it sinking in the mud on farm roads with a big V8 diesel. Not to mention the 6.0 would be lucky to see 14-16mpg with big tires and low gears while the 4bt should be between that and 20. I know in a properly set up street truck people are seeing 30mpg out of them

Because they're easy and good motors lol they have their place. But I agree, If I was doing an old crew cab 70's model or something I'd be rocking a 6.0 or 6.4 for sure, I'd go through the extra effort for that to be different. But for practicality in a little truck like a scout the 4bt is just right lol
