Right. How much did you invest in your truck figuring out your misfires before taking it in?
Your truck was lifted when you bought it, correct?

Not knocking you, you gotta start somewhere. Id help you if you were around here.

My brother works there,so I get it done for $20. It would cost me probably $10 more to do it myself, not a big difference at all but if someone said they'd pay you $10 to not do 30 minutes of work you'd probably agree right? lol

I haven't done an oil change in 6+ years besides when necessary during a larger repair. Not worth it IMO. Plus it never hurts to get a second set of eyes on the overall condition of the vehicle.

There's not much I won't tackle but I value my time more than it costs to pay a dealer for an oil change.

I assumed my truck had fuel problems,I had a mechanic tell me that wasn't the problem and that I needed to replace plugs/coils,I should've went with my gut/common sense on that. And yeah the truck was lifted, but I know putting a lift kit on isn't hard just time consuming.

The ford dealer here does $10 oil changes. Includes motorcraft oil filter and oil for ford vehicles.

Yeah I've never had the truck in the shop unless I don't have the tool for the job. I have my little two year old daughter out there with me under the truck and bringing me tools when I change oil. Just another way for me to enjoy working on my truck and spending quality time with my kid. But just my opinion.

My time would be to valuable if I had to do it during the week while I was working. But I do it on the weekend when I'm sitting on my ***. Lol not worth the cash for me.
