*sigh* Just saw my nerve doctor, and the time has come (after 4 years) for another surgery. She wants to go in and clean up the scar tissue that's around where the nerve was severed. I need to do it, but the timing couldn't be worse. This means a near 8 week recovery time (2 weeks in a sling, and 6 weeks more after that), as well as a new 4-6" scar. Bleh...
