Coming from countries with 220 volts, a shock from the standard 110 here is like getting lightly pricked by a needle vs being hit with a sledgehammer like I'm used to.

Do it. Take an apprenticeship program. Get paid to learn.

Some days I want to leave a stop and then shower in Purell.

Today is one of those days.

I need to look into it again because I already know some basics so I'd start out on a good foot.

My ex and I had a guy come in and wire the kitchen I redid and he made a grand plus our old stove and I already had wire and he had some supplies so most was straight profit and he was only there Saturday and Sunday
Plumbing is also something I thought of. I know a good amount about that too I just don't know all the codes for plumbing and electrical.
