Come down south to Oklahoma sometime. Its getting hotter by the day. 104 Fahrenheit yesterday at my parents. 98 here. And 60 nights. Plus its summer time which means lots of PowWows. Went to a Delaware tribe today. Not been to my tribes in a long time. The Cherokee have it too far for me to drive.

It's funny, my dad has been a mechanical engineer for 30+ yrs, but hasn't done TRUE mathematical engineering for 25 yrs of those 30 yrs.... He started in the business side VERY early on. Now he pretty much just tells people what to do and catches all the Flak when they screw up. Gets to work at 6, leaves at 6. Works his *** off but he's still happier doing that than being directly involved in the mechanical/technical side. He found his niche, and he's happy there. I on the other hand need to be more hands on. I need to see progress and work in person.

I've been to Oklahoma. And yes, it does get hot. I was there in August and it was a scorcher!

My dad does the same (bossing and getting flak) but sits in a office doing paper work on orders for 3hrs. Walks the yard for 2 doing random safety inspections. Then goes back into the office for lunch. Back into the yard running hot runs across the yard.
