When I told my dad I wanted to buy a new car for myself, I meant I wanted to buy a older expedition to have in addition to my Audi. $10k for the Expy maybe. He goes nah, get something nice. I'll match whatever you put up. He says why not a nice Mercedes ML? No dad, I can't match your $25k.

I really wanted to keep my little Audi..... I only got $8k for it anyway.....

Thank god you didn't take that advice....Any ML older than 2012 would be a nightmare.

I'd like to get my mom into a new ML.

I didn't want an ML anyway, I needed something that could take some abuse, camping, biking, off roading, and eventually, children....

Explorer was an option, but they are only available with a third row, and the floor that covers those seats when folded down feels like flimsy cardboard...... That's not gonna work.

Toyota 4Runner was top pick, but interior quality just wasn't up to scratch.

Expedition...... 5.4 Nuff said.

LR4 was also top pick but just too expensive.

Jeep too small.

Damn F150's are good. Everytime I look back and think what if I hadn't gotten one, the F150 still comes out on top.
