Past 4 years I was working as a sub contractor. So many tax credits combined with business expenses and I paid probably half the taxes an employee would pay. It's quite unfair how self-employed and businesses get so many benefits and employees get next to nothing.

Eh businesses who create jobs here should get breaks. I just don't agree with the income tax.

I don't mind the income tax because it funds a lot of necessary stuff.
What I do mind is being taxed repeatedly and for unnecessary pork.
Don't tax my income, then tax me again when I spend it, a-holes.

And THREE TIMES on gas...
Once on my check,
once due to the state gas tax,
and once again when I pay for my gas and they add state sales tax.
What a damned joke.

That's what I think they think every time I see mine

Wanna talk about a tax mistake the year I got divorced in my little depressed ***** phase intelligent me didn't think to change my filing status until the divorce finalized and we lived in separate states after we separated and I had to file that year married filing separate and I didn't get the credit and I had paid married claiming 1 or 2 so I got taken to the cleaners haha

The bright side is that they only tax us if we earn it, save it or spend it.
