I gotta disagree with you there. Never once did Hogan's Heroes threaten to bring a tear to my eye. M*A*S*H on the other hand gets close sometimes. Or maybe it's the fact I've been watching the last 8 seasons in sequence for the last couple weeks that the characters become like family.

Plus the fact that I used to watch this show with my dad.

He's got some massive paws and has a good personality, I'm hoping to take him on the farm more than we did with our older GSD so I can steal him when I go to work

True. I just meant in how they're both comedic war shows. M*A*S*H is just a bit more on the serious side, given that it deals a lot more with death than HH does.
