Maybe 2k, they can't price it too high or no one will want the option. The explorer with the auto high beams, seatbelt airbags and lane assist was around 2k.

Not to mention most of the technology is already in the cars, just need the software and the sensors and actuators for the driver inputs (ie brake, throttle, gear change, etc). Fairly cheap stuff, especially on the scale of a company like Ford.

If audi, bmw, infinity, or benz would of came up with it you would be paying 4-8k for the tech package on top of the already 100k base car price.. Fords 2k tech pack is like a tire upgrade on any high end car.

That's why my parents chose a fusion over an audi A4. Way more features for a lot less money. Surprisingly the fit and finish of the sport model is better than an audi S-Line.
