Why spend 43k on an LTZ Z71 when you can spend 44k on a raptor

What I took from the article is that GM is blaming poor truck sales on price, but yet Ford is increasing production of the Raptor to meet demand.

which is at a higher price. That's what I was kinda making a point of with previous statements.

Price is huge. I got more bang for my buck with Ford. Saved thousands, plus got thousands more in features. I have owned Dodge and Ford, and the total difference in ownership experience has been huge, in favor of Ford. When pricing out trucks the GMC fell short in quite a few areas. Power and features were the most significant. Although I cannot speak to the long term owner experience of a GM not having owned one, at first glance they just don't offer what Ford offers, criticize Ford's technology yet are struggling to offer the same technology years later.

GM - took over $800 million dollars to stay afloat. Sent its CEO to congress to lobby for a $1 per gallon federal fuel tax that would be handed over to GM to further develop battery powered cars. Went on national TV and told America that it paid off its TARP loan early when it fact it used an additional TARP loan to pay off the first.

And despite it's $1.6 BILLION essentially interest free loan, they still can't produce a car a reliable as Ford at a reasonable price.

**** general motors. They're dead to me.
