You woke me up, FYI. On a day I didn't have to go into work early. My ONLY day...

Dropped my truck off at the dealer for warranty work. Here we go with the Ford service bull****..

Dealer: "Your larger tires contribute to the steering rack rattle and rear driveshaft snap noise"
Me: "Explain to me how 2" more diameter tires could possibly cause those problems"
Dealer: "The LT rated tires contribute to more jarring ride which causes the steering shaft to loosen and rattle. Also, with the axle having to propel the heavier tire it will stress, causing the rear snap sound." They didn't even investigate. They phoned me at 9AM this morning when they opened. Just jumping to conclusions.

Cool, so when someone puts non-car tires on a not-car it will make the steering fall apart. I love Ford, but **** Ford.
