I heard a WRX that sounded like a wet elephant fart once. It was a hackjob exhaust, but most of the time they sound glorious!

i am hoping to do a wrx drivetrain swap down the road. thats after my other subie drivetrain swap project though...

It does sound great. I hear them running up and down the highway a ways away from my house all the time. My boss owns a WRX STi and it is a joy.

I had a 2003 WRX. Loved that car...

Very distinctive sound for sure.

For some odd reason I can't imagine you as a WRX owner..Although I have no reason to say that I guess, I know nothing of your vehicle history before your pickup..

I like the engine but I don't think I could own the car itself. Subaru's are fantastically reliable and the STI is a great car to drive, but the fit and finish, design etc doesn't interest me as much as others. Both the WRX and the Evo feel like tin cans with ridiculous power! Not much to them I guess.
