Its a nightmare under the 6.4. My truck is deleted and all that so i dont worry bout all that but theres just so much jammed in there. Look under the hood and your like oh hell no.

My brother has an 08 F350 6.4 and is looking at tuning it, etc. I never realized it was THAT expensive

Actually BECCA, the 6.0 had less problems than all of the 7.3s. Fact.

The 6.0s get ****ty because either they get tuned/tow too big of a payload and run hot and blow out the head gaskets or the oil cooler gets clogged and there goes the entire system after that since it probably wasn't being monitored anyway so there's no way of knowing how hot it's getting in the EGR and there goes the EGR, which leakes coolant into the engine, and there goes your headstuds/headgaskets.

Oh i didnt know of any issues, mines over 170k problem free tho so thats good for me

The 6.4 and 6.7 have almost an identical body style...

Plus they're not trucks, they're pickups

The 6.0s are impressive and most of the problems like head gaskets were caused by programmers

I miss our 6.0.... Never did I say that I didn't like it. I just didn't like the 6.4.
