There is nothing wrong with being in your mid thirties and doing your masters Degree. I'm doing a Master of Science: Information Technology-Information Assurance degree now. It is a dual degree program. When I complete it, I take 5 more classes to get an MBA. Keep doing it, even if you have to plug and chug along. You will eventually get done.

Nice, I guess it isn't too bad. Just weird to think about, I mean a "masters" is more like a title I guess, have you all reaped the benefits like pay from yours? I know experience in afield is what counts but some people pay more just for that title.

I work in a very competitive market. It makes me more desirable when competing for work. I don't know that I make more because of it - that tends to be a function of work experience and negotiating skills.

fordmotorsport and WarSurfer, at my job, when employee review comes around, continue education can put into your assesment which will add points for a raise. I'm in IT so a degree is good, but its the IT certifications people like for you to have.

32 here and finally started using my G.I. bill. Have my BS but all online classes and they pay me $1033 a month along with a grand for books, free money and higher education.

This'll be the last thing I think I can squeeze out of the Army, they used me for 9 years so I'll take everything they give me!
