rifle season started in michigan on sunday so my buddys and i camped out opening weekend like we did last year. i didnt end up shooting a deer with my rifle, but i shot a decent sized doe with my bow on saturday. she dressed out at 100 pounds, should fill up my freezer nicely. the weather was unusually nice for november in michigan. last year we had snow and 30 degrees, this year was t-shirt weather, thats michigan for you. lol anyways, heres a couple pics, the last 3 are from opening weekend of bow back in october.

this is a pic from my tree were i shot here. it was about a 25 yard shot.

these are from bow season deer camp

My dad got me into it. I would suggest finding out through your states DNR website when they next hunter's education classes are. Take those, I know here in Indiana they are a two day class, usually on the weekends. That will get you information and teach you proper procedures. And you may meet a few people that will teach/or even let you shoot their weapons.
