Default Excursions?

So I've been looking at ford excursions lately, and I gotta say, they can get pretty awesome. They stopped making them in 2005 but apparently all the body parts from newer F250 and up trucks can be put on these excursions, making them look brand new! Does anyone on here have an excursion or any thing to share about them? Thanks!

my uncle has one. it's a 2002 4x4 Eddie Bauer with the 6.8L V10 and it has been his daily driver since 2003, has over 200k miles and has been rock solid in terms of reliability. he has consistently gotten right around 11mpg which isn't great but he can load it up with his 2 kids, wife, and two dogs and tow his 32' travel trailer anywhere he wants to go. he usually doesn't keep vehicles this long but he doesn't know what he's going to replace it with since there is really nothing out there like it anymore.

My pops has a v10 limited excursion that he uses to pull his mini excavator. It's a really great truck almost has 200k on her.

Yes sir! My mother drives a 2001 limited and it still goes hard after 350,000 miles. We take that thing all over Texas. I would not trade it for the world.

Reason being? An expedition can only tow so much...

I wish they still made the Excursion today. Just think about that bad boy with 6.7!
