Default coon hounds

any one here have them? if so what kind do you reccomend? im lookin to get one if i can convince my mom to put up with them again

Im a bigtime coonhunter n if you ask me theres no other dog but the treeing walker coonhound!!!!!!!!

my moms ex had a bunch of them (we would go to all the local hunts at his club and we went to autumn oaks a few times) he had a walker a couplke black & tans a few redbones and a bluetick...my mom just wont let me get one because "they will keep her up all night and we live inside the city"

I've always had Walkers and Blueticks. Every Bluetick I have ownd was the best tree dog but they were all ill tempered towards other dogs. The walkers were ok, none out of the 5 i have had were mean and all had good noses. But keep in mind...

Its all about how they are trained.

I have had Redbones and Walkers. My son still has a couple Redbones. Get watch dogs. Mine were trained for big game. I really miss them.
