My wife was bitten by a brown recluse when she was younger. Quite a nasty Spider to deal with. She has a small chunk of skin missing out of her knee thanks to that spider.

I got bit on the finger by a smal small baby one. And i thought it was going to kill me. I was out of work for a week. All i did was sit in a recliner and cold sweat. Theres a hunk missing from my finger..Its the worst kind of sick i've seen. I'm pretty sure it caused nerve damange too... Sometimes that finger and my pinky go numb..

I have a friend who got bit on the thigh by one while playing basketball. It was pretty nasty looking. We find a lot of black widows around where I work.

Messing around with those things will definitely be a one time thing.. Lots of Soldiers got messed up pretty bad trying to play with them.. Those things will bite you for no reason..

Thank god I live in Canada. The spiders here leave a red bump if they bite you. That's it.

We do have a scary one that's quite large. It apparently got brought here by accident from europe and they multiplied. But they have no venom and the bite is pretty harmless.
