I'm 5' 8" weight 220 49 years old I mostly use dumbells 125# per arm flat bench 115# on the incline 4 sets of 6 reps. Started training at age 24 and weighed 135.
I hit the gym at 5am 5 days a week for 1.5 hrs.
I mainly work out so I can eat what I want and not get too fat.

125lb damn that's good. I've only seen 2 people do that but they were HUGE.
I could do 80lb dumbbells which was my best..

Haha, I hear that. I do dumbells myself, helps the stabilizer muscels get nice and big, making your other major muscles look bigger. Most I got up to on DBs on flat bench was 120#ers, but thats cuz they didn't have any bigger. But I definitely go to the gym so I dont gain weight (fat weight). I'm a Texican who loves to eat, can't do that and not gain weight without being in the gym. Plus I hate to run. If you try any supplements, try Jack3d, that stuff gives you a wicked pump and makes your skin feel like its on fire. Good stuff. I also reccommend Anabolic Halo for after workouts, very good $#!t.
6' 250lbs...I try and stay in the gym for 45min - 1hr, my rule of thumb is, if you can go longer than an hour, you aint pushin hard enough, lol.

^^Ditto. Halo is good stuff. I like the tingle you get from it lol. I'm never in the gym for more than 45 minutes to an hour when I'm lifting by myself.

I'm going for about a hour every morning before class right now, and whenever I get up on Saturdays.
I also think that fact that I quit drinking and smoking about three weeks ago helped me get motivated a ton too.

You could say that would help lol. Those two things will hinder you quite a bit especially when trying to lose weight or just simply get in shape!

Yeah, alcohol is factored into my caloric intake every saturday (game day, HOOK EM). LOL
The drunker I get, the more I say screw calories and keep drinking. After the Championship game in January, I should be better able to control my drinking.
