New York Times takes swing at Obama: The Golf Address
"FORE! Score? And seven trillion rounds ago, our forecaddies brought forth on this continent a new playground, conceived by Robert Trent Jones, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal when it comes to spending as much time on the links as possible — even when it seems totally inappropriate..."
If it's one of the biggest books coming out in the fall, (At least according to my B&N email), why doesn't it have a title or a cover?
I'm looking forward to that book.
I read "Decision Points", and it completely changed my opinion of W. I may not agree with everything he did, but he did what he thought was best for the country at the time. That's what a leader is supposed to do.
"Lol, yep lazy, irresponsible, stupid idiots who voted for Obama,
who don't know their *** from their elbow,
whiney women, unmanly men with short manhoods
are all gonna come here and bitch" - Kidastra, 2014
W's administration is one which left me seriously considering whether we need some adjustments to our government.
He did an excellent job internationally, particularly with what he had to deal with.
On the domestic side, however, he did much which left me wondering how capable our government is as currently structured to deal with internal issues. If the Federalist system envisioned in the Constitution was actually being utilized, we'd be far better off. All three branches of the Federal Government, however, seem to be in one century long power grab.
California's education system is best left to California. The Federal Government has been empire building in one sphere after another, far overstepping the Constitutional grounds. Some things need to be handled at the Federal level, many things, however, are best left to the states. If Mississippi wants to spend more on education, let them. My tax dollars shouldn't be going to subsidize a high school in Biloxi.
If there's anything more important than my ego around here I want it found and shot!
