I agree with you and understand his frustration. I don't think any of us would REALLY want a hundred thousand to a million deaths just to prove a political point.

^^^This is why I'm a Libertarian. Neither party stands for what's right...only what's best for them.
I'm not attacking you, Kmac, just elaborating on your "F em" quote.

I forgot one key point in my diatribe earlier:

The article mentions to just "head for shelter" - that's stupid for a number of reasons but I digress - upon detonation there is a 'flash blindness / ruptured eardrum' zone in addition to death zone, hot zone, etc... So if you are within a mile or so and outside you are permanently blind and deaf (and probably vaporized) - kinda makes 'heading to shelter' tough. If you are 2-5 miles out in daylight looking in the general direction of the blast you are blind for 30 mins to an hour with hearing damage ranging from ruptured ear drums to severe ringing, etc depending on distance away. If detonated at night folks as far away as 10 miles can be flash blind for hours if looking towards the point of detonation.

So the reality is hundreds of thousands of blind folks stumbling around in irradiated rubble / falling into holes / driving into the Potomac.

Pretty grim.

University calls the amount of white people on campus a ‘failure,’ asks for ideas on how to have fewer
A school-wide questionnaire at Western Washington University (WWU) asked the community “How do we make sure that in future years ‘we are not as white as we are today?’”

Well, nothing says you are bad at math, business and economics like trying to reduce your share of our society that comprises over 70% of the population.

The liberal 'progressives' have a wake up call coming.

Yup. That's why I barely associate with with "Republicans" and usually refer to myself as conservative, period. I'd actually like to identify as Libertarian, but at this point in time, all the Libertarian party does is leech votes away from Republicans, and that is NOT good. If I could get every Republican party to jump ship to Libertarian instantaneously without making both parties lose every single election for the next 150 years, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

The Republican establishment that runs the "right" side of things is more of an enemy than the Democrats are. They fight against the people within their party that actually have strong morals and want to properly represent their constituents. As far as I'm concerned, Cruz (and a small handful of others) is the only person that is actually representing me on the national level.

I'm not heated, not at all. I'm just explaining what happens, every time.

Not sure that taking Valium and drinking is a good idea though

Ymeski, that's disgusting, but, not very surprising.

Unfortunately, I'm forced to vote mostly Republican for this exact reason. As of right now, I'm voting straight ticket GOP this cycle. That's something I've never done, and never thought I would ever do.

Probably the same handful that I feel the same about. Allen West, Mike Lee, Thomas Sowell, Herman Cain, etc.
