The entry models are mostly junk, why do you think the Japanese cars took off ?
As far as I am concerned, GM has not built a truck since 1972 ! Although the old square bodied S-10 platform was pretty solid !
Point is, most junk produced gets purged, but it seems GM has been rewarded ?
Chrysler could be in the same boat, but it seems that Fiat is taking them in a more responsible direction ?
