So could we say that they cancel each other out on tax morals and to some extent credibility ? Provided that they are both operating legally under the tax code ?
Why are the Dems allowed to question anyone's taxes unchecked ?

Now that we have settled that detail, what is next ?

Gov, Romney has handed the DNC the tax issue by refusing to comply with a tradition his own father started, which was to release 12 years of tax records, as he stated at the time because one or two years could have been planned with a run at political office in mind.

This.

I never even knew he took no salary, that's how small of an issue it is. However Harry made a big deal about his taxes yet when they released the 20 year summary, it shut em up pretty fast because they realized he gave far more to charity than they did. Now to cue opinyawn saying he gave money to the Mormon church. So what? Where's the proof? Where did Obama give his charity money to? Was it Reverend Wrights church? Or is that just when it pleases him? Giving money is giving money.

Also, on opinyawn's claim about blacks and the Mormon church, Mitt's father George was on the forefront of the civil rights movement while in Michigan so your claim holds no water. Thanks, come again.

Does the 20 year summary that he released not count now?

No the dems have made it an issue to deflect from important issues. The irs and sec investigate if he broke the laws, it's not for a campaign or elected officials to make blind unfounded accusations

No, it doesn't count, as it is a summary released by the accounting firm. He still refuses to allow the media access to his actual records, which has been standard practice for four decades now.

As to him taking no salary, I'm amazed you haven't heard of it, as it has been posted numerous times as a meme on facebook.

It still shows income, rate paid, charity and all that stuff. Feel free to correct me.

As for the memes, I've not seen any of those on facebook regarding Romney. I've seen some on Obama but then again, the "friends" on mine mostly support Romney and the few who support Obama are, IMO, pretty radical in their feelings of hate for Romney (multiple expletives on statuses about Romney after the debates). I'll admit some of the "right" friends aren't the greatest either but sure aren't as bad as the "left" when it comes to politics. Which reminds me I should probably clean it out again...

Did just see the first Romney ad on pandora about his plan. This after months of Obama ads telling people to "go out and vote"

Today I heard a new argument being made by the righties: Obama didn't do enough to protect the embassy in Libya because he's weak, blah, blah, blah

...well, Bush ignored the Bin Laden briefs, which is more egregious?

Now Romney is resorting to creating a "bogeyman" by claiming we need to have a tougher presence on the world stage...

Are you opinyawn under a new name? We happen to have gone over this.

Clinton was given briefings on Bin Laden which he ignored as well. Everyone is at fault, noone doubts that but to place the blame fully on Bush for something that they would've found a way to do anyways is playing loose ball.

There are hearings going on now to get to the bottom of the problems with the embassy in Libya and until those findings come out, it'll be politics as usual. I, like most, wish it weren't so but that's not gonna stop anything. Same goes for Obama blaming everything on Bush...
