Romney gets my vote for a few simple reasons:
1. Im a social conservative. I do not believe gays should marry. I do not believe in abortion.
2. Im a fiscal conservative. Obama inherited a train heading in the wrong direction and all he did was FLOOR the accelerator pedal and ran this train off the track into the ground.

So you are telling me that YOU can repeat YOUR opinion long enough that others should believe it ? If you could actually back up what you are putting out there than it would not be an issue ? Like it or not. The minute that you,I ,or anyone else puts something out there,we are then judged by our peers ! You have been judged repeatedly, and been proven wrong on multiple accounts! We all have more in common than what you think, but you repeatedly fail to look ! If your peer group tells you that you are wrong, then you can stop and take a hard look at what you are being told? Or walk through the door to another group the minute that your swollen head will fit through the door opening ?

I have a hard time believing that you actually were a teacher, considering the way that you have come across in this thread ? I having a hard time believing that you could survive to tell the tale ?
Seems to me that you have some serious issues with those that have achieved some form of financial success ? Perhaps you should take a hard long honest look at yourself ?

That's a nice thought, unfortunately Gov. Romney (depending on the day) is in favor of both abortion and civil unions. It all depends on who he's trying to fool into voting for him.
But in a 1994 interview with LGBT newspaper “Bay Windows,” Romney said that he would be “better than Ted (Kennedy) for gay rights” during his unsuccessful campaign to unseat the late Massachusetts Senator.
Face it, there isn't a conservative in this race.

Pick the Romney position you like better! A month ago Romney said he looked forward to appointing Justices to the Supreme Court that will overturn Row v. Wade to end abortions! Now to be all things to all people as he has been doing for years, he just said to the Des Moines Register that he has no intention of signing any legislation that will limit abortion rights!
This is the guy you trust????? I'd rather trust a used car salesman! In fact apologies to used all car salesman to speak of them in the same post as "Slippery Mitt with His Flip Flopping Lip"!
I know, I know.... somebody will have some convoluted, strained, desperate explanation why the two statements are consistent just like they desperately tried spinning his very, clear "spit in the face" 47% of Americans statement they are trying to spin 180 degrees the other direction!
Mitt should finish every statement with.... "I reserve the right to alter my opinion at any time in the future should it be politically advantageous based on my misreading of the political winds, or a change in the audience to whom I am speaking!" I'm Mitt Romney and I approve this statement!"
It would save a lot of lying and faking amnesia later! LOL! Romneycare? I don't recall any such program!

This is exactly what Obama has done over the last 4 years. He did what he had to do to get elected and then completely did the opposite. Every point you have made about Romney can be reversed and directly applied to your Hero Obama
So picking a president for me is easy look to the one whom I think has the best plan to get the economy back on track. Obama has tried over 4 years and failed time to try something new. If it does not work time to try something new again in 4 more years RON PAUL 2016
It's very, very odd to see "conservatives" defending this behavior in a candidate, as Sen. Kerry was absolutely TORCHED by the entire spectrum of conservatives for the exact same thing.
I'm not a particular fan of Pres. Obama, however, Gov. Romney was the governor of Ma (for which he took a no salary, effectivelt cutting his capital gains tax in half, such a saint he is), and I will never, ever vote for him for an elective office again.

Obviously he was right about the 47% because apparently many can't walk and chew gum. Appointing conservative justices is not the same as signing new regulation. Pretty simple concept actually, but don't let common sense get un the way of your rants this late in the game
