First let me say thanks to the members of this forum for helping me get to the point I am now with this build.
Now I am trying to gut my 85 of all excess wiring not powering the lights, horn, or windshield wipers (getting rid of the radio, speakers, cruise control, and all the other amenities). I've looked at wiring diagrams until my head spun, and am wondering if any one has any helpful links or general advice for removing the wiring in these trucks.

Just backup from the component you wish to remove and unplug. If you unplug and something you need stops working you can plug it back in. Whats left just tape over the connector and then secure to the wiring harness so it does not hang down.
Hope this helps
