Default wierd fuel problem?

I have a 1979 f150 and it has a bone stock rebuilt 351m. It drove great and i did a basic tune up ie spark plugs, cap and rotor, wires, air cleaner, fuel filter, and new sending unit/pickup. Ran even better after that. Now all of a sudden its wanting to fight to stay running and when the idle cleans up...heres the wierd thing...if you shake the truck just the slightest bit it dies. Ive been working on old trucks for years and never ran into a problem like this.

You said it dies. Is like it is starving for fuel or like the key was turned?

Starving for fuel. The gas i put in it was probably 35 percent water and i didnt realize it. So i siphoned as much as i could out. And today i bought some seafoam and im letting her run for a few with it in the tank so try and get rid of the water.

I know its not the fuel pump due to it starting right back up after it dies. I bought a rebuild kit but im saving it as a last resort due to my pops always saying "if it aint broke dont fix it"
