Where is fuc*ing schrader valve please please please
1985 f150 5.0 302
GUYS PLEASE CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE THE FUC*ING SCHRADER VALVE IS ON THIS DAMN TRUCK. Please don't say it is on the fuel rail. Where specifically. I can't find it. I am sure on this truck I'll have to take the tranny and engine out to get to it. Oh wait...that defeats the purpose now doesn't it. IM SO TIRED OF THIS CRAP. SO DAMN TIRED GUYS.

Easy...easy...easy Mr. Payton don't blow a head gasket!lol The schader valve for the fuel rail is on the drivers side fuel rail toward the front of the truck. You will have to remove the air cleaner top assembly to gain easier access. If you still can't find let me know and I will post a pic of it's location on my truck. Hope this helps man.

It helps, but I do not have a valve there! I have some pics here of what I am seeing. Maybe you can get a closer pic? Mine just isn't in that location and it is not visible anywhere else for that matter.
No Schrader valve!!!

That is definitely weird. I will do some foot work and see what I can find out for you. Your truck is an 85 correct? Got to be some kind of difference there between my 86 and your 85.

I wish. I want to check fuel pressure. I need to. Truck died on me on way home. Something is going on, but I still think its the torque converter.

Well....It is an 85, but most of the time it uses 86 parts because there were slight differences (like the oil sending unit for example). It does at least have heads from a different 302 like a Mustang or something judging by the different spark plug it uses (matches with car 302). I would have to doubt that the engine is different because everything on the harness matches up exactly where it should, the oil pan is the f150 one, and the intake would not work with another 302 right? Anyway, there is nothing on the rail man. Its just crazy. Now I can't check fuel pressure so I have to keep guessing.

Whats your VIN?
Or better get a picture of your door sticker. My shop manual has the decoding information. You could have a special order or a foreign export model? There is a 2 digit number just above the axle number in lower right. 11-87 US region codes. 90 something is export.
A 3 digit code is above the spring codes. DS0 (domestic) or FSO (foreign) or PTO (special order).
Is your title clear?
