What did you DO TO or HAUL with your Pre-1987 today?
Why does every other part of the forum have this thread but us?
Well I'm starting it.
Finally got the truck to pass NJ emissions!!! Took 5 tries and some new parts, but I got it!!! I celebrated by driving by the police station without fear of getting pulled over!!!
I then took 300lbs of scrap metal, (mostly the rusted leaf springs and shocks from my truck) to the scrap yard, then went to the dump with 500 lbs of garbage and used oil and anti-freeze. Then went through the car wash. Not bad for a 28 year old truck with 110K and a straight 6!

Touch up
Touched up my grille today.. The previous owner spray painted it black so of course it didn't last longer than a year. So i decided to drop $3 on another can of black to touch it up at least until i got the money saved up for another grille for either $150+ new or for around $75 used. Which do you think i should do? Oh, and i also realigned the grille because the grille support arm was bent bad.
Before how the grille was bent if you can see it in this picture with it being in the shade.
Basicly a before and after painting how bad the rock chips were.
All put together! and now the grille isn't bent.
Dont you just love once you finish and have extra screws?

I would agree I love the chrome but the current paint job on my truck wouldn't match at all seeing as how my tailgate is black accent.. Once I save the money to paint my truck its going back to the original shadow blue metallic

My truck has a $64 autozone duplicolor primer paint job. Id love to lay a dodge electric blue on it but i got lots of body work to go through. Maybe in 8-10 years ill tear it completely apart and blast the frame and body.
