Conmman365 I like that pickup, those old flatheads, when they were running right, you could idle it down till you could see the fan turn, just as smooth as could be.

This one purrs like nothing i've ever heard. Its a beautiful sound.
It sat from 1980 until 2003 and when they pulled it out of the barn, changed the oil fuel and a new battery, it fired right up without even smoking. These old things are crazy.....

With todays lubricants and filters, those old flatheads would have run forever. I go back far enough to have been part of that time & worked on many old flatheads, things were much more simple then, before the gov. got involved.

Thumbs up 1977 f-150

My '77 F-150 that I just completed an 8 year frame-off restoration on. Replaced basically everything from the ground up inlcuding the 300 with a 460. 4" suspension lift, 35X12.50 Micket Thompson's, L&L fenderwell exit headers, short exhaust with Dynomax Race Bullets, complete new interior and new bed sides and fresh base/clear coat in a retro Lincoln color. Truck was my grandfathers and when he passed away it was headed ti the scrap yard it was so bad. I brought it back from that fate and she's already won Best of Show trophies in only two months.
